    The diversity of the operating mediums in the process industries requires the use of a wide range of materials, managing fabrication technology being essential to guarantee the safety of the operating equipment.
 

    By the achieved experience, UTON is a leader in the application of steels and other modern alloys:
   - carbon steels, for equipment operating with non corrosive fluids;
   - low carbon steels, for steam boilers or pressure vessels;
   - heat resistant steels alloyed with Mo, Cr-Mo, Cr-Mo-V or Cr, Cr-Si,
Cr-Mo-Ni-Nb;
   - stainless steels (Cr-Ni) and cladded steels for vessels operating in corrosive medium, duplex and superduplex steels;
   - non-ferrous metals and related alloys: Al, Cu, Pb, Ti, brass used especially for claddings.
 

   Our workshops incorporate a wide range of steel processing equipment including:
   - cutting machines: plasma, CNC oxygas, shears;
   - brakes, profile and tube bending machines;
   - rolling machines: max. plate thickness 40 mm, cold rolled;
   - presses and dies for hot forming of dished heads with diameters up to 800 mm;
   - welding equipment for manual, semiautomatic and automat welding: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW;
   - tube expanding machine;
   - medium and light machining facilities;
   - forging equipment, parts weight=400kg;
   - heat tratment furnaces - maximum size of part to be stress relieved 5000x5000x15500mm;
   - sandblasting equipment;
   - painting equipment: conventional and airless spray;
   - traveler cranes: up to 40 tons.
 
 
   UTON has a long standing reputation for its high quality welding on all types of steel fabrication, and several grades of carbon, stainless, duplex, titanium, inconel materials. All welding is performed in accordance with either ASME qualified welding procedures or ISO 15614, using welders and operators also qualified in accordance with ASME Code Section IX, or EN-287, under the supervision of the responsible authorities.
 

   Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) system will ensure that the equipment conforms to customer's exact operating requirements and applicable codes.
For equipment delivered in sections, UTON ensures the pre-assembly of fabricated component parts and the temporary storage until shipping to the customer.
