QUALITY
			Quality is the fundamental and distinctive value constantly promoted by UTON, for all the products and services offered to its customers. Quality is ensured within a system designed according to ISO 9001 standard requirements. The Quality Management System is described in the Quality Handbook and it is applicable to each activity of the organization: marketing, planning, designing, procurement, fabrication, control and service.          UTON holds the following certifications and authorizations:   - TÜV Approval Certificate of the Quality Management System, according to ISO 9001:2008;   - PED Certificate for pressure vessels acording to the European Directive of Pressure Equipment 97/23/CE, H and H1 modules;   - ASME Certificate of Authorization for U Stamp;   - ISCIR Authorizations covering the engineering, fabrication and repair of pressure vessels, steam and hot water boilersand process piping.        Our laboratories have authorized personnel and modern equipment to perform the following tests: - mechanical testing: tensile, yield, bending; - impact tests - Charpy V; - micrographic examination; - chemical analysis; - corrosion tests of carbon and stainless steels; - non distructive examination: X-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particles, dye penetrant;      The calibration laboratory is authorized to carry out repairings and checkings in the following fields: length, weight, flow, pressure, temperature, electrical.         The Quality Department monitors the quality management system, for the continuous improvement of the company's performances.
